Information Architecture

IA is the process of organizing, structuring, and labeling content in a way that makes it easy for users to find and understand. By doing IA before UX and UI design, it allows the designer to focus on creating an aesthetically pleasing design that is also easy to use, rather than spending a majority of time trying to re-organize and re-label an already existing layout. This can lead to a more efficient design process, keeping the project consistent and ultimately, a better user experience.

As it also covers the majority part of the copywriting process, the copywriter ensures that the language matches the overall brand tonality while paying attention keeping the amount of text used crisp,clear and direct.
